There is a place not too far from my office that just fascinates me. If I am in need of clearing my head
and reorganizing my thoughts I have a tendency to drive down the street to the local Kwik Trip. I like the coffee; Lars likes the hot dogs. Down the street and around the corner in the other direction is El Mercado. I love this place. When you walk into this Mexican specialty store you are greeted by this warm smile by Jamie. El Mercado has lots of great items to select from. Wonderful bakery, specialty foods, dairy, shopping, and more.
My son likes it that every time we go there he can buy another bottle of hot
sauce for his collection. On Saturdays and Sundays you can even buy fresh made tamales. There are even pinatas. El Mercado is located in downtown Oconomowoc Wisconsin in between Fowler Lake and Lac la Belle. They are open Monday through Sunday from ( a.m. to 9 p.m. Their address is 116 B. N. Main St. Oconomowoc Wisconsin, just north of the intersection of Hwy 67 and Wisconsin Ave. (Hwy 16). You can reach them at 262-560-0190.
