You will win, you will lose, but you get dressed for every game in Real Estate

In the Waukesha County Real Estate market and as one of the Waukesha County Real Estates agentsthat wants to see you prosper I remind you that we win some, we lose some, but we get dressed for every game. If opportunity knocks we need to focus, really look at the big picture, and if we are wanting to                                                                                    be buying a home in Waukesha County the timing could not be better. When was the last time you saw rates so great? When the prices were amazing well, and the selection plentiful? If you are a first time home buyer when was the last time anyone gave you $8,000 tax credit for buying a home? Procrastination has sorrowed many hearts because individuals not taking action. It is action with intent that counts, and not just intent. Remember "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." "If you snooze, you lose" makes sense. We go about our everyday, but today may be the day to fill out your wish list in a home and wake up with all the listings searched, and waiting for you in your email Inbox. If so click:Dream Home Finder

Wishing you a productive day, and see you at closing!

The 4th of July in the Waukesha County Real Estate market

Earlier when I was a kid there was a marvel of life about fireworks, barbecues, sparklers, and celebrating Independence day in Waukesha County and the 4th of July in the United States. The Waukesha County Real Estate market sees it's share of wonderful and grateful smiles that day. I see them all year with the people that show there love for this day. The cost of freedom and democracy, and the price that was and is paid for it means the same as it did then. People with deep faith did what they knew they had to do, and they knew it came with sacrifices and it did. Before I sold my summer home in Door County on Washington Island this was a holiday that was made to sit out in my boat and watch the fireworks from the Island. I can't help but think that my ex wife (never did like that term) disliked that boat. Spencer and I just loved to sleep on it, eat, watch the fireworks, and light sparklers. With this 4th of July we take time to rememeber the difficulty the country is wpeking through, the people that have lost their jobs, and the families that may have lost their homes. The beauty is that all of that can be replaced but the friends, family, realatives, smiles, hopes, and dreams that make us americans can never be taken from usd. IT's in our blood and it' whan we fight for to be able to live in sush a magnificent country as we do. God Bess the United States of the Americas and take care of it's people. This year may have been herd or difficult but there is always a shiny lining on a cloud right around the corner. This year I am preparing for my long move and to have a 4th of July in Wisconsin once more.

The Cheese Factories in Waukesha County and America's Dairyland

I have found memories of hanging out with my grandfather when I was young. Saturdays were a ritual; a trip to the dump so the guys could get together and chew the fat, a secret trip over to Dottie's bakery in Stonebank where my grandfather would pick up the donuts and then fly over to the Phillips 66 station in North Lake so he and his friends that had diabetes could eat their jelly donuts, and of course the cheese factory in Mapleton to get a half a brick of cheese. The Waukesha county cheese factoriesmay have diminished but those memories will last for ever for me. I was showing property a bit ago to someone and I made the comment that I thought it was a cheese factory previously. The folks that were relocating looked at me in bewilderment as I explained to them that the Waukesha County real estate market had cheese factories everywhere at one time. Wisconsin produces more than 35 percent of all cheese made in the United States. Much of it is made in small, family-owned and operated cheese factories that specialize in award-winning varieties. They welcome visitors. Please read about the history of Wisconsin vheese which is extremely interesting at History of Wisconsin Cheese . The move from producing cheese for family use to making cheese to sell was a short step. However, commercial production of cheese in Wisconsin began on a small scale.   By 1945 more than 1,500 cheese factories in Wisconsin produced about 515 million pounds of cheese a year. Today, approximately 15,000 dairy farms, with over 1.2 million cows producing an average of 18,850 pounds of milk each per year, continue the reputation for quality milk from Wisconsin. Wisconsinhas more skilled and licensed cheesemakers than any other state. These cheesemakers must complete rigorous studies in dairy science and cheesemaking before they can be licensed. They also may serve as an apprentice under a licensed cheesemaker. Wisconsinis the only state to offer a Master Cheesemaker program. These fine craftsmen produce over 2.4 billion pounds of cheese each year, over 25 percent of all domestic cheese.   Quality and variety of cheese from Wisconsin, America's Dairyland.  Cheese factory history, locations, Wisconsin attractionsLIST OF BUTTER AND CHEESE FACTORIESLIST OF CONDENSERIES , Cheese Factories & Tours , Wisconsin Attractions: Find Attractions by County , How Cheese Is Made   Recipes  Click here for a Map of Wisconsin Cheese Factories  History of Wisconsin Cheese

Honey really does catch more flies than vinegar

Recently I was talking to a friend and fellow Wisconsin bee keeper that was going out to check his colonies after torrential rains, and also to see if any animals had gotten into any of the colonies. The beauty of bee keeping is that you can do it anywhere. For the most part I see a lot of bee colonies in large open fields and forests. Very pretty sight indeed. I do know one thing; honey does catch more flies than vinegar. In the Waukesha County real estate market things are heating up. Whether you are looking for homes for sale in Mukwonago, homes for sale in Hartland, or homes for sale in New Berlin rest assured the talent that exists in Waukesha county Real estate agents is amazing and I take my hat off to all of them. We live in a world where all we worry about is the health and the welfare of our kids, our pets, and everyone on the planet. We have wonderful charities that go out and help the many in need, and at times of crisis. We do our best to help the faces of the hungry, the poor, the devastated, the individuals and families that need our help, and deserve it. It breaks my heart to know that there are kids out there suffering and  families trying to cope everyday. I live in Wisconsin and the last time I looked into it about twenty three years ago or so they did not have unemployment funds available for real estate salespeople. Come to think of it there was not a lot of programs designed for my profession. That meant I had better work, and do my best at it to stay on top and make a living. I can really applaud a lot of people I work with, and I am fortunate to have them as friends and mentors. I do not understand how bad mouthing  or poor behavior can help anything. The public has and always will have a chance to deal with the great people in our Industry, and they will find out who is full of hot air. It is a cycle that has existed forever. It's called results and not excuses. It's called patting each other on the back and telling someone what a great job they did. It's called taking the time to help or educate someone so they can be that much better. God knows there is plenty of money to be made out there and it is by word of mouth that someone can hear back "That is a decent person, and I recommend them." What more is there? It means doing the right thing. It means turning the cheek, rolling up our sleeves, and working on a game plan. It is all about working together, and achieving a common denominator. If you have not read about him yet there was a man named Wallace Wattles that pretty much was devastated, let the World roll by him and then Wallace Wattles thought it out, read more about him  by clicking Wallace Wattles , or  About Wallace Wattles . Here is wishing you your best day ever and like one of my mentors said "Lead by Example". Great words Ray! To everyone Carpe Diem.

Wishing you a productive day, and see you at closing!

You don't have a dog, do you? Do You Know KRISTIN JOHNSTON?

In the Waukesha County Real Estate market someone recently asked me "How can you always give that dog Lars of yours center stage and why do think the world of that dog so much, you do everything with that dog? You think he's your best friend or something." It only took a moment and I politely replied "You don't have a dog, do you?" I had a chance to talk with my friend Kristin Johnston Re/Max  who I have the pleasure of working with. The great thing about Kristin is when you know you need help with something you are going to get help from someone that is always going to accomplish the job. Point-Blank, Period, next project, get it done attitude. I was thinking about attitudes pretty much all morning and after talking to Kristin it hit me like a lead balloon. I was thinking about time management and what would be a great example of someone that can conquer much. Well, that answer is Kristin. I wanted to write this post because I may have not given as much thanks to people like Kristin that are out there everyday fighting with their heart and soul to stop things that are wrong, and they do it with such a passion that it radiates. For those of you that may not know entirely Kristin is one of the greatest animal advocates you could ever meet. Every cat, dog, and lots of other animals have a voice in her. Oh yes, did I mention in her "spare time" she regularly volunteers at the local Waukesha County Humane Animal Welfare Society? Support this cause for Kristin Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County and read her blog Kristin Johnston's Southeastern Wisconsin Blog

It wasn't to long ago I had to worry bout Lars for something I had to go through again. I was worried, very worried, and low and behold Kristin called me twice a day saying "don't worry buddy he will be taken care of." Kristin does not talk bad others, never throws anyone under a bus, does not write blog posts to put others down or include tasteless ego approaches. She has decent morals, ethics, and practices that would have me say that anyone that works with her they are in good hards. Read her posts; they are postive, upbeat, and with cause. This is a high quality Waukesha County real estate agent that sells Waukesha Real Estate with pride and anyone wanting or in need of buying a home in Waukesha She's not out to shovel more manure for people to have to read, and tell someone how great they are; people see right throw that. When you have someone like Kristin you always have honesety, caring, morels, ethics, and you never had doubt that she is all class. She is just Kristin; kind, good, caring, and hard working. You can find plenty where you really have to question their own morals, ethics, and BS that they put out in their sign of weakness, but Kristin is a broker that I will always look up to, I know and trust her 100%, and we have a great respect for each other. When we talk it is with sincerity.
